2 vocal performances were recorded this weekend. Wade Black travelled from Tampa and layed down some serious vocal performances. We had a great time and captured some very exciting tracks. In the studio were Me, Rob, Wade, Steve Elder(bass) and Sean Shannon, the engineer...
Across the pond in Germany, Mat Sinner also recorded his vocal tracks. He was very happy with the performance and will send me the recording this week before he leaves for the Primal Fear "Black Sun" tour. He will record his bass tracks when he returns...If you are in Europe, make sure and check this amazing tour out!
Tomorrow marks the anniversary of 9/11, which coincidentally was the same day I was offered my recording contract. I hope everyone has a safe day and remember that "We Will Never Forget"..
Take care until next time..

OK..I'm back in the real world now. Had to just disappear after all that recording. So much to deal with, but thats part of the job. I'm feeling very rested and ready to release some great songs for you. All my guitar parts are complete and all that is left is too have the guests record and mix. The sound is great and for the first time it sounds like a "real" recording to me. Look for it before the end of the year..
The show with Rob on 8/3 went great and if you were there, Thanks for rocking!! Also, big thanks to Matt from Trivium for the use of his rig, while mine was in the studio. Check him out..He's a bright young guitar talent and playing all over central Florida.
I will be recording some solo's for Rob's new album very soon. Produced by Roy Z.(Halford/Dickinson) and will be a great new album released late this year or early next year.
As many of you know, Wade Black, will be appearing on my album. I will also be working with him on his new solo album as well. Wade is an incredible singer who has sang with Crimson Glory and Seven Witches. Look for a release next year with some awesome true metal!!
Thats all for now...More reports as they come in..

Due to many unfortunate logistic problems, I won't be travelling to Europe and record which also leads to me not being able to record with Mike Terrana. However, arrangements were made and here is the latest:
Richard Christy of Iced Earth will be the new drummer for my album. Richard is also known for many bands like Death, Control Denied and Burning Inside. As many of you know, Richard appeared on 3 songs from "The Fire Within." We have rehearsed for many weeks, along with Stephen Elder on Bass. The recording will Start on 7/12/02 in a studio near Orlando. I will also be video recording most of the sessions for a "making of" video.
The studio report section will be added this month and I will have many updates for you soon..

-I was honored with the "Best Metal Guitarist" award at the Orlando Metal Awards on Friday night. Prior to us playing, Banzai from M4 Radio and Matt (Mortem A.D/O.M.A. coordinator) presented me with a very cool gold skull trophy. It is a true honor for me to be given this award and I must thank all the great fans out there in Central Florida and around the world for voting for me! I was totally speechless and and really had no clue what to say, but as soon as Tracy kicked into the intro, we totally gave Orlando a real taste of True Metal!! Special thanks goes out to Strain and Matt for putting together this great event and giving the Orlando Metal scene an awesome show!
